MAIR, Dawne Elan ʺDawnseyʺ

MAIR, Dawne Elan ʺDawnseyʺ, 1964-2021, 57, of Dieppe, passed away on Monday July 26, 2021 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in New Glasgow, NS, she was the daughter of Charlotte “Honey” (Cooley) Rhyno of New Glasgow, NS and the late Leonard Rhyno. Prior to her illness, Dawne owned and operated Dawne’s Barber Shop in New Glasgow, NS. She always had a smile and a greeting for anyone that she met. Besides her mother, she will be sadly missed by her husband of 31 years, Bill; one daughter: Ashleigh Mair of Dieppe; two sons: Kyle Mair of Mississauga, ON, and Nathan Mair of Dieppe; six grandchildren: Vera, Harmony, Brooklyn, Sylas, Rowan, and Dax; seven siblings: Jane Taylor (Don) of Stellarton, NS, Mary Allard (Daryl), Karen Latter (late Kenneth), and twin brother David, all of Meiklefield, NS, Martha Sabourin of French River, NS, Linda Freeman (late Clarence) and Carolyn Delorey (Tony), both of Westville, NS; one sister-in-law: Shelley Morrison of Westville, NS; as well as several nieces and nephews. The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church St., Moncton, NB (506-858-1900) on Friday August 6 between 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. only. A private funeral service by invitation will be celebrated on Saturday August 7 at 3:30 p.m. Face coverings are optional.
