Those in the Westville and River John areas looking to be vaccinated against the coronavirus can do so in their own community soon.
Nova Scotia Health is taking its outreach vaccine clinics to both areas to help support booking availability.
Upcoming outreach vaccine clinics include:
- River John Old School Community Centre, 2 School St., Nov. 8, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
- Westville Town Hall gym, 2042 Queen St., Nov. 9, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Both clinics are drop-in only.
Anyone planning to attend either clinic who may have mobility challenges, special needs, or significant anxiety about needles should notify clinic team members on site.
Transportation to and from vaccine appointments can be organized through Rural Rides for $5 return. Visit https://ruralrides.ca/ to find the nearest provider. Transportation must be booked at least 24 hours in advance.
All eligible Nova Scotians are encouraged to get vaccinated against COVID-19 as soon as possible.
