Hazel Steadman says she feels fortunate to reside at Coady’s Place.

Now 92, Steadman lived at the former Tara Inn and continues to live there after the Nova Scotia Co-operative Council purchased the motel and began renovating the building to provide 36 affordable housing units. She was even allowed to keep her three cats.
