Drugs, ammo seized from car

A Pictou man was arrested in Stellarton after a quantity of drugs and ammunition was seized from his vehcile.
On Tuesday, August 21, the Pictou County Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit (PCISCEU) along with assistance of Stellarton Police Service executed a CDSA Search Warrant on a vehicle that Stellarton Police Services had seized on Monday, August 20, after conducting a routine traffic stop.
An adult male from Pictou was arrested. Officers located a quantity of ecstasy, methylphenidate, hydromorphone and ammunition during their search. Charges include possession of hydromorphone, possession of methylphenidatem, possession of ecstasy and breach of a Firearms Prohibition order.
Stellarton Police also has pending charges under the Motor Vehicle Act.
The man has been released and will appear in Pictou Provincial Court in relation to the Controlled Drug and Substance Act and Criminal Code charges on October 22.
