Stellarton man facing drug charges

A Stellarton man was arrested on Wednesday, Aug. 15, and charged with drug crimes.
He was arrested after the Pictou County Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit (PCISCEU) along with assistance of Criminal Intelligence Service Nova Scotia, Stellarton Police Service and New Glasgow Police K9 Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in Stellarton.
Officers located a quantity of cannabis marijuana plants and cannabis marijuana at the residence. Charges include production of cannabis marijuana and also possession of cannabis marijuana.
The man has been released from custody and will appear in Pictou Provincial Court in relation to CDSA charges on October 22, 2012.
