RCMP investigate armed robbery in Pictou

RCMP in Pictou are currently investigating an armed robbery that occurred last evening.
At approximately 9:40 p.m. on Wednesday, RCMP responded to a call of a robbery at the East End Grocery on Denoon Street. Two males entered the business wearing dark clothing and with their faces covered. One was carrying a knife and the other was carrying a gun. The suspects stole a quantity of cigarettes and cash then fled the store.
The lone employee working at the time of the robbery was unharmed.
Police are asking anyone with information about this robbery or any other incident to come forward.
