RCMP are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying two suspects in a July 18 robbery in Blue Acres.
At approximately 11:30 p.m. on July 18, RCMP responded to a call of a robbery at the Esso Service Station in Blue Acres. Two individuals entered the business and assaulted the clerk. One of the suspects sprayed the clerk with bear spray and then both suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. The employee was treated at Aberdeen Hospital and released.
Police are asking anyone with information about these incidents or any other incident to come forward. Calls to Crime Stoppers are not taped or traced and if police make an arrest and lay charges based on a tip, callers qualify for a cash reward from $50 – $2000.
