New Glasgow Police Service respond to a call about unexploded ammunition shells in New Glasgow’s business district on Thursday, July 5.
Police received the call at approximately 1:30 p.m. after construction staff located two ammunition shells in an abandoned building that was in the process of being demolished.
New Glasgow Police Service and the Department of National Defence Explosive Ordinance Unit responded to the abandoned building located on Provost Street New Glasgow.
The National Defense Explosive Ordinance Unit removed the two ammunition shells safety from the location. New Glasgow Police Service continue to investigate.
