Stellarton man arrested for possessing kiddie porn

Local police arrested a 43-year-old Stellarton man this morning for possession of child pornography, accessing it and making it available.
A search warrant was executed at approximately 9:30 a.m. Thursday at a Park Street residen by New Glasgow Police Service Major Crime Unit, New Glasgow Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit and the RCMP Technological Crime Unit, as a result of a six-month online Internet child exploitation investigation.
During the search warrant police seized a number of items including computers, laptops and software items.
New Glasgow Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit and RCMP Technological Crime Unit continue to investigate.
