EnerGuide home efficiency program continues, despite end of federal support

Posted on February 15, 2012

To the Editor:
Nova Scotians who want to make their homes more energy efficient can still get money back from the EnerGuide program, despite the recent end of federal support.
The federal government announced on January 29, 2012, that it was no longer taking applicants for its EcoEnergy Retrofit program. (For full details, the federal news release can be found at: http://oee.nrcan.gc.ca/residential/personal/retrofit/16462 ).
While the federal offer was time-limited, Nova Scotians can still take advantage of rebates and programs from Efficiency Nova Scotia and the province of Nova Scotia.
Efficiency Nova Scotia’s EnerGuide program continues, energy auditors and contractors are still working across the province, and our team is ready to help you with any questions you might have.
With or without financial incentives, when you improve your home’s energy efficiency, you are going to save money on every power bill or heating bill from that point on. Year after year after year.
To find out how Efficiency Nova Scotia can help you do that, please call 1-877-999-6035 to speak with one of our energy program advisors or check out our website www.efficiencyns.ca.
